The San Francisco 49ers were so close to winning the Super Bowl during the 2023 season.
They made it all the way to the big game, and while they fought hard against the Kansas City Chiefs, they ultimately fell to the reigning champs.
Losing in the Super Bowl can be incredibly disheartening, especially since that team worked incredibly hard throughout the season to get to that point.
Players can choose to be negative about their loss, but for many 49ers players, that is not their mentality.
Fred Warner talked about his current mindset in a recent conversation he had on the NFL Network, indicating that many of his teammates share his beliefs.
“It’s not a matter of if in my mind, it’s a matter of when we do go win one,” Warner said.

Warner believes that the 49ers are building something special.
They might not have won the Super Bowl last year, but as long as they keep their core pieces and players in place, this team could prosper.
The good news for the 49ers is that they have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFC in recent seasons, which should be the case again in the 2024 campaign.
Several teams have amplified their rosters in the offseason to try and best compete with them, but at this moment in time, they are still believed to be the best team in the NFC.
This is not only said by several prolific members of sports media, but sportsbooks agree, giving them the best odds to win the Super Bowl next year.
