The last few seasons haven’t been the kindest to the Las Vegas Raiders.
They have only made the playoffs once in the past decade.
Several NFL teams are in rebuild mode, and the Raiders appear to be one of them.
They have had difficulties staying consistent, which is why they struggle to gain traction in the playoffs.
However, they do have a few star players on their roster that they can build around, including superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby.
Crosby has made a name for himself as one of the best defensive players in the league, and he remains committed to the team despite their recent woes.
Adam Schefter recently reported that the Raiders are trying their best to reward Crosby and his elite performances, and has received a $6 million raise for the 2024 campaign.
Raiders reworked the contract of three-time Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to give him a $6 million raise for the upcoming season, per league sources.
The team also moved an additional $1.2 million into 2025.

With any luck, this raise will give Crosby increased motivation to play even better next year and inspire his teammates to step up their game.
They have seen what Crosby can do on the field, and if they follow his lead, good things could happen.
While the Raiders’ defensive side of the ball might be on the up and up, the same cannot be said for their offense.
They were expected to target a quarterback in the draft, but with a historic number of QBs taken within the top 12 picks, the Raiders had to pivot.
It appears that there will be an in-house competition for the starting job between Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell, a sign that the team hasn’t committed to either player at this time.
Unless one of these players grabs the bull by the horns, it could be a tough year for this team on offense.
