The Green Bay Packers are one of the most intriguing teams in football.
After what was supposed to be a down year in Jordan Love’s first season as the starter, the team went 9-8 and made it to within 15 minutes of an NFC Championship Game Appearance.
Heading into the 2024 season, Green Bay will come in with a new look on the defensive side of things with new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley replacing Joe Barry.
One player that is looking to make a massive leap under Hafley is defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt.
“It’s time for a monster leap. Yes sir. A monster leap,” Wyatt recently told Madison.com.

If Wyatt makes that big leap, that might be all this defense needs to be a truly elite unit.
He recorded 5.5 sacks last season, which was 4 more than his rookie output.
There are stars at every single unit of the defense.
Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark, talented second-year interior defender Karl Brooks, and veteran edge-rushers Preston Smith and Rashan Gary will control the line of scrimmage.
Edgerinn Cooper, the team’s second-round pick out of Texas A&M, was the best linebacker coming out of the draft this year by most accounts.
The team added ascending safety Xavier McKinney to the backend in free agency, along with Georgia national champion safety Javon Bullard.
Not to mention the fact that All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander is still in the fold too.
With this unit, Hafley will be looking to work the magic that Barry could not.
