The Baltimore Ravens will be playing the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 to kick off the 2024 NFL season.
It will be a rematch of the AFC Championship Game that saw the Chiefs go on the road and upset the Ravens in Baltimore last January.
With quarterback Lamar Jackson downplaying the matchup, former Super Bowl-winning wide receiver Plaxico Burress had recently this to say on The Carton Show:
“You have to establish some kind of confidence that you can beat this team…I don’t know when not winning football games didn’t become a priority,” Burress stated.

Lamar Jackson has only defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs just once in his career.
Kansas City is the king of the castle in the AFC and the NFL as a whole.
Baltimore had them at home in the playoffs last year and blew their opportunity.
Now, they will get another crack at the back-to-back Super Bowl champs early this year.
The Ravens will look somewhat different this year offensively with the addition of one of the best running backs of this era in Derrick Henry.
With Henry and Jackson together in the backfield, defenses will struggle in terms of the run game.
If the Ravens can find a way to take it up a notch and the two-time MVP quarterback in Jackson can be efficient through the air, look out for John Harbaugh’s team.
This Week 1 matchup against the Chiefs might not be the last time they see them in 2024 either.
It could be a potential playoff matchup.
