The Philadelphia Eagles made a very key move on defense this offseason by signing former Jets edge-rusher Bryce Huff to a three-year deal.
After trading All-Pro edge-rusher Haason Reddick to the Eagles, it was only right that Philly signed Huff in return.
Insider Eliot Shorr-Parks has great insight on what makes this move very underrated for the Eagles:
“The signing of Bryce Huff is probably officially underrated at this point. One of only 19 EDGE defenders last season with 10+ sacks…there are just not many EDGE rushers as good at getting to the QB as Huff,” Shorr-Parks recently tweeted.

Reddick leaving/Saquon signing overshadowed Huff but there are just not many EDGE rushers as good at getting to the QB as Huff

With new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio now in the fold, this Eagles defense could be scary.
Yes, they lost franchise legend Fletcher Cox and the All-Pro in Reddick, but there are still stars at every level.
Huff will be the No. 1 edge-rusher on the depth chart after his career year in 2023 (10.5 sacks, 21 QB hits).
Veteran edge-rusher Brandon Graham is back for yet another season in Philly.
It doesn’t hurt to have a former Pro-Bowler in Josh Sweat either along the edge.
Young Studs Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter will control the trenches.
Former Alll-Pro linebacker Devin White and former national champion linebacker Nakobe Dean will control the middle of the defense.
Veteran defensive backs in Darius Slay and James Bradberry, along with rookie Cooper Dejean, should shut down the passing attack for opposing offenses.
This is a complete unit.
It is a stout unit.
With the addition of Huff, it might just be a Super Bowl unit.
