The New York Giants have been riding the struggle bus at quarterback ever since the best days of Super Bowl-winning signal-caller Eli Manning.
Quarterback Daniel Jones has had a mediocre five seasons with the franchise and is coming off of a torn ACL.
Big Blue has a record of 22-36-1 with the former first-round pick in Jones as the starter, which is not going to get it done.
Giants legend Plaxico Burress recently had this to say on “The Carton Show” about New York’s quarterback woes:
“It doesn’t matter how great the young wide receiver is if the quarterback can’t get him the football,” Burress stated.

Of course, he is referring to first-round receiver Malik Nabers, who was drafted by the Giants this offseason.
The team is not confident in Jones’ abilities either.
If they were, they wouldn’t have gone out and signed veteran Drew Lock to compete with Jones for the starting role.
This is a team that has won 10 or more games in a season just once in 13 years.
They have just one playoff win in the last seven years.
New York is in dire need of competency at the quarterback position.
Jones needs to take that step and become somebody that this team can rely upon.
He has thrown 40 interceptions and been sacked almost 180 times in five years.
His play needs to change.
If not, it will be another long season for this Saquon Barkley-less offense in 2024.
