During the NFL offseason, it is fun to watch studio hosts fill their time with predictions for the upcoming season.
One classic segment is which teams that made the playoffs last year will miss the playoffs this year.
Craig Carton recently gave his predictions for the 2023 playoff teams that will miss the playoffs in 2024.
According to Carton, via his show, he believes that the Buccaneers, Rams, Browns, and Dolphins will all miss the postseason this year.

The Buccaneers are the only team on this list that won their division in 2023.
However, with the additions that the Atlanta Falcons made this year, such as the signing of four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins, and with the Bucs going 9-8 last year, it is going to be a tough division in 2024.
The Rams, Browns, and Dolphins were all Wild Card teams last season but each had 10+ wins.
All would go on to lose on the road in the first round of the playoffs.
Now, the Rams made additions like every team, but they might have had the biggest loss in the league this offseason with the retirement of future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Donald.
The Browns are getting a healthy Deshaun Watson back, but he hasn’t been the same since his early days in Houston.
The team also hasn’t made the playoffs in back-to-back years since 1988-1989.
In Miami, the Dolphins look like they could be a contender after winning 11 games last year.
But with the competition in the AFC East, perhaps only one team will make the playoffs.
On paper, that team looks like the Jets.
