Coming into Sunday’s game at Hard Rock Stadium, the consensus around the NFL has been the Carolina Panthers are the worst team in the league right now, with a winless record.
Things didn’t get any better for the Panthers in Week 6, as they had to contend with arguably the best offense in the NFL, with Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill leading the way.
Despite a disappointing loss to the division-rival Buffalo Bills a couple of weeks ago, the Dolphins haven’t missed a beat offensively and were fully expected to keep their foot on the gas this week against the lowly Panthers.
Unfortunately for Carolina, the Dolphins were dominant once again on Sunday, with Miami scoring 42 points on their way to their fifth win of the season.
Even though he didn’t throw an interception against the Dolphins, it was a rough day for rookie quarterback Bryce Young, who has been unable to lead his new team to a win this season.
After the game, fellow Alabama alums Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle showed support for Young via the NFL’s Twitter account.

It’s never easy to be a rookie quarterback in the NFL, as few are successful right out of the gate, with everyone expecting it to be a learning experience without much success in Year One.
Even though C.J. Stroud has had some success with the Houston Texans, and the same could be said for Anthony Richardson with the Indianapolis Colts, Young has struggled in his first season with the Panthers finding it tough to get any kind of momentum this year.
That said, getting support from Tagovailoa was likely a big deal for Young, and hopefully for his sake, it helps him get through his rookie campaign.
