One of the more underrated moves of the NFL offseason was the Tennessee Titans signing wide receiver Calvin Ridley.
The 29-year-old signed a four-year deal as a free agent with the team in the Music City.
He will join future Hall-of-Fame wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Pro Bowl running back Tony Pollard, and veteran pass-catcher Tyler Boyd on offense to help out young quarterback Will Levis.
First-year head coach Brian Callahan was recently asked by the Tennessee media about his initial thoughts on the signing of Ridley.
“He’s everything that you would expect him to be. He’s a great pro. He’s a phenomenal person to be around…I think he’s really gonna help us,” Callahan stated, per Jim Wyatt.

The former Alabama star was an All-Pro back in 2020 with the Atlanta Falcons after he recorded a career-high 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and 9 touchdowns.
After getting suspended for betting on games in 2022, Ridley, who was traded to Jacksonville that year, eclipsed 1,000 yards for the second time in his career and reeled in 76 catches and 8 touchdowns last season.
The Titans were able to ink him to a major deal that took him away from the division-rival Jaguars.
He will now be a focal point of the offense in the Music City.
The offense has one of the best supporting groups in the league, but Levis is the one question mark on offense.
Nobody knows how he will turn out.
But if he turns out to be a real player, the addition of Ridley will certainly look even better as the season moves along.
