It is really neat to see former teammates in the NFL stay close over the years.
Former Raiders Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr and current Raiders All-Pro edge-rusher Max Crosby still have that friendship and connection, even with Carr now in New Orleans.
Carr recently chatted about their friendship on Green Light with Chris Long.
“One thing I know about Max is he’s a psychopath…He’s still one of my best friends,” Carr stated.

Carr and Crosby were teammates for four seasons with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders (2019-2022).
Both became Pro-Bowlers while playing together and taking the team to the playoffs for just the second time in over a decade-and-a-half.
They are slated to face each other for the first time this year on opposite sides of the line.
Fans should look forward to a lot of trash-talking between the two, which should give each player flashbacks to all the practices where they went at it.
Hopefully, they can soak it all in too.
After all, they both play in different conferences now, which means that they won’t see each other all that often during the season.
For Carr and the Saints, they will be looking to have an improved season after going 9-8 but missing the playoffs in 2023.
For Crosby and the Raiders, they will be looking to have their first winning season since 2021, which is when they last won 10+ games and made it to the playoffs.
Hopefully, fans can watch a great game between the Saints and Raiders on December 29th in New Orleans.
