Throughout the 2023 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys were considered to be one of the best teams in the league, as America’s Team was stacked on both sides of the football, with up-and-coming superstar Micah Parsons leading the defense and star quarterback Dak Prescott having an MVP-caliber season under center.
Prescott was putting on a show on a weekly basis for the Cowboys, as he led Dallas to wins consistently and had the league buzzing about whether this was the year that Jerry Jones’ team would win it all.
Unfortunately, even though they secured the second seed in the NFC and seemed to be one of the tougher teams to beat in the conference, everything changed once the NFL playoffs got underway in Arlington, Texas.
The upstart Green Bay Packers came to town and manhandled the Cowboys on their field, ending what seemed like a promising season with Super Bowl aspirations.
Despite an epic collapse in the postseason, Houston Texans rising star C.J. Stroud had high praise for what Prescott accomplished this past season, via Brandon Loree of Athlon Sports.
“Dak that boy, y’all aren’t gonna say that because he ain’t won the big one yet…Dak is that dude bro,” Stroud said. “Dak tough, bro. Dak is one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the world.”

Although Stroud’s praise is warranted for what Prescott did in the regular season, the same can’t be said for what he’s done in the postseason for the Cowboys during his time in Dallas.
No matter how successful the Cowboys are during the regular season, the storied franchise can’t carry it over into the playoffs, which has been a significant stain on Prescott’s career in the NFL.
