Minnesota Vikings fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Big news has recently come in regarding their All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who was awaiting a contract extension from the team.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelisssero, the Vikings just inked Jefferson to a massive four-year, $140 million deal with $110 million guaranteed.
According to the insiders, it is the largest contract for a non-quarterback in the history of the league.

Jefferson is off to the greatest start for any wide receiver in NFL history.
His 5,899 receiving yards through his first four years are the most-ever for any player in that stretch.
He has recorded 1,000 yards each year despite only starting two full seasons out of the possible four.
His 2022 season was particularly impressive as he led the league in receptions (128), receiving yards (1,809), and receiving yards per game (106.4).
He was named the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year that season.
Despite only starting nine games due to injury last year, he still recorded 1,074 receiving yards.
He has been incredibly productive and the best offensive player in Minnesota since Adrian Peterson.
Looking ahead to the future, it will be up to first-round quarterback J.J. McCarthy to build a strong connection with the three-time All-Pro.
If he can do that, the team will be playoff contenders at minimum in 2024 and beyond.
