The Los Angeles Rams have an impressive history with the NFL Draft.
Despite often trading away their first-round picks, the Rams tend to find great players in the late rounds of the draft.
One recent example of this was in 2023 when they selected Puka Nacua with the 177th overall pick.
Nacua wasn’t expected to make a big contribution in his rookie campaign, but he ended up being a great target for Matthew Stafford.
He even set the rookie records for receptions and yards in a single season, an impressive feat for a player with his draft capital.
While the 2024 season hasn’t started yet, it appears that the Rams are already excited about one of their recent draft picks.
According to Sean McVay via Bridget Condon, Blake Corum has come “as advertised,” with McVay also noting his competitiveness.

Corum was a highly touted back when he was at Michigan, and he was a big reason for the team’s run to the National Championship.
He might have been a third-round pick, but McVay seems confident that he could do impressive things in this offense.
Of course, he’ll have to contend with Kyren Williams, who burst on the scene for the Rams last year.
Having two great running backs is not exactly a bad problem to have, but McVay and his staff will need to find a good balance for these two players in their offense.
With the recent additions of players like Nacua and Corum, the Rams could certainly be a force to be reckoned with next year if they stay healthy.
