The Dallas Cowboys are missing several of their key players during OTAs.
Jerry and Stephen Jones continue to play hardball with their star players.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that both CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons have been nowhere to be found at OTAs.
Recently, the talented defender claimed that he was using the extra time to get stronger and heal his body, adding that it was all he had to give the Cowboys at this moment (via Yahoo Sports).
“I’m just letting my body heal and grow, strengthen, and get ready for the year…this is all I have to offer the Cowboys,” Parsons said.

Both himself and Lamb are currently seeking lucrative contract extensions, and it’s more than safe to say that they’ve earned them.
The Cowboys usually deal with this kind of situation differently from every other team in the league.
In the end, the Cowboys usually end up paying more than they would’ve had to pay in the first place, all while wasting precious time, forcing players to miss OTAs, and growing resentment.
One would think that they would’ve learned their lesson by now, and this is why some analysts believe the Cowboys aren’t serious contenders.
