The Chicago Bears were one of the teams that a lot of people had their eyes on during the offseason.
They ended the 2023 season with a 7-10 record and have high hopes for another improved year.
No. 1 overall draft selection and Heisman-winning quarterback Caleb Williams is taking over under center.
He isn’t alone when it comes to bringing in talent and hopeful production.
GM Ryan Poles also made some huge additions to the wide receiver room by drafting All-American wide receiver Rome Odunze and trading for six-time Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen.
The team already had a multi-time 1,000-yard receiver in D.J. Moore, but he now has some more help.
Keenan Allen recently spoke with the Chicago media about Odunze and what he has seen so far.
“Rome looks great…He’s running around pretty good…He knows what he’s doing…That’s huge,” Allen said.

Despite turning 32 years of age earlier this offseason, Allen has proven that age is just a number throughout his career.
While with the Chargers from 2013-2023, he recorded five seasons with 100+ catches and six seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards.
He will bring plenty of experience to the Bears offense.
Veteran D.J. Moore has recorded over 1,100 receiving yards in four of his six NFL seasons.
But, as Allen said, Odunze is moving along nicely too.
The former Washington Husky is coming off of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and was arguably the best receiver in America last year.
Chicago’s offense, especially through the air, should be quite dangerous this year.
