The rich keep getting richer, and the Philadelphia Eagles are wealthy right now.
This team was already stacked, and they made the most of Isaiah Rodgers’ situation and suspension to get him.
So far, so good for the former Indianapolis Colts star.
Recently, WR A.J. Brown claimed to be quite impressed with him, stating that it didn’t look like he had been away from the game for a year (via Ari Meirov).
#Eagles WR AJ Brown says he’s been impressed by CB Isaiah Rodgers.
Rodgers was released by the #Colts after being suspended all of last season for betting on games. The Eagles signed him, kept him on the roster, and now he’s gaining praise from teammates.

The cornerback missed all of last season while serving a gambling-related suspension.
He was reinstated late in April, and he’s been working nonstop ever since.
He recently talked about how he missed the brotherhood and camaraderie that came with being in an NFL locker room.
Rodgers was found guilty of placing bets while at the team facility, which is a clear violation of league policies.
He also allegedly placed wagers involving his own team, and while he claimed that those bets were made for his friends and family in Florida — where sports gambling was illegal — he was still released and suspended.
The Eagles signed him to a one-year deal worth roughly over $1 million, and he’ll now compete with two potential star rookies in Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell for one of their starting spots.
He could also contribute on special teams, and having him at such a significant discount is yet another masterpiece by GM Howie Roseman, one of the best — if not the best — in business when it comes to making the most of other teams’ spare parts.
