The hopes of the Indianapolis Colts will hang on the health of young quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Indy drafted him out of Florida in the first round last offseason at pick No. 4 overall.
He would go on to play in four games before his season came to an end due to a shoulder injury.
During OTAs, all eyes have been on Richardson as he looks to stay healthy in his sophomore season.
Recently, the former Gator has sat out practice due to soreness in his shoulder.
Head coach Shane Steichen stated that it’s just a precaution.
“I’m good. Just a little sore,” Richardson told the media Thursday, per Around The NFL.

When coming off of a major injury, especially one so key to the success of the quarterback and the team, of course the team is going to play it safe.
Richardson is an extremely talented player but is still raw.
In four games last year, he recorded 7 scrimmage touchdowns and had a QBR of 87.3.
But, the 22-year-old also took a lot of hits and fumbled 3 times.
In order for the Colts to be legit contenders this season in the AFC, Richardson will need to make good decisions and stay upright.
Around Richardson, the Colts have some talented pieces.
1,000-yard wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor, and speedy rookie AD Mitchell out of Texas will be key resources for the quarterback.
This team, with Gardner Minshew, came to within a dropped pass of making the playoffs.
Imagine what they can do with a healthy Richardson.
