The Houston Astros are playing in their seventh straight ALCS.
It is hard to imagine a team having that much success but Houston is a well-oiled machine.
Even with their cheating scandal in 2017, they have not allowed anything to throw them off their game.
But, they seem to be in some trouble after Game 1 of the ALCS this year.
The Texas Rangers won Game 1 and have swung home-field advantage in their favor.
Also, the Rangers may have the advantage in Game 2 because one of the Astros’ best players is dealing with a virus.
According to Ken Rosenthal via Talkin’ Baseball, Yordan Alvarez is dealing with an upset stomach and headaches.

Even with the issues, Alvarez is still in the lineup for Game 2.
Houston is not the same team without their star slugger in the lineup.
Alvarez is the best home-run hitter on the team and someone who can change the game with one swing.
He has also been on fire in the playoffs.
The lefty is hitting .350 with four home runs and six RBI in the playoffs.
Also, he has scored seven runs and is slugging 1.050.
Houston cannot afford to go down 0-2 in this series.
Especially with the first two games being at home.
You can bet Alvarez will do whatever he can to take the field and help his team win.
The Astros have always been a team carried by their offense.
After getting shutout in Game 1, you can bet they will come back with a vengeance in Game 2.
