Joe Flacco signed with the Indianapolis Colts this offseason on a one-year deal after being signed off the street by the Cleveland Browns midway through last season and leading them on a spirited run to the playoffs.
His play down the stretch brought back memories of an iconic playoff run he had back in the day, and the NFL itself decided to remind us of that legendary run once again to give us something to reminisce on during the dark, football-less days of summer.
The NFL posted a highlight reel of Flacco’s dominant 2012 Super Bowl run when he led the Baltimore Ravens to their second championship and threw 11 touchdowns with no interceptions en route to hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Flacco threw 13 touchdowns in five games with the Browns down the stretch and finished on a 4-game winning streak to snag an unlikely playoff berth, though the team fell to the Houston Texans in the first round.
There were moments that reminded fans of his historic run over a decade earlier when he threw multiple TDs in each of the Ravens’ four playoff wins that season, many of which were absolute dimes deep down the field.
The most iconic moment will always be the 70-yard touchdown to Jacoby Jones with 31 seconds left at the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round.
He threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns in the Super Bowl to defeat the San Francisco 49ers and forever change the narrative surrounding him, as nobody can ever take away this playoff run.
It’s up there with the greatest postseason runs of all time.
