The Houston Texans seem to be in great shape after a fantastic first season for both rookie head coach DeMeco Ryans and rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
The team won 10 games and the AFC South for the first time since 2019.
Ryans arguably should have been named NFL Coach of the Year after his tremendous first year in the Space City.
ESPN analyst and former player Louis Riddick absolutely loves what Ryans has done in Houston.
“I ain’t worried about nothing in Houston,” Riddick recently stated on “NFL Live” (via @TexansCommenter).

The Texans were the laughingstock of the league for the last few seasons.
They won 11 games total in the three seasons prior to Ryans’ arrival in Houston.
Not only did they seemingly draft the right quarterback in Stroud, but they also drafted a great defender in Defensive Rookie of the Year Will Anderson Jr.
This team is built to go win right now.
Much like the Green Bay Packers in the NFC, the Texans proved a lot of people wrong en route to the playoffs in 2023.
The team is trying to take advantage of their open championship window.
They have added All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs, former Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon, and All-Pro edge-rusher Danielle Hunter this offseason.
In a loaded AFC, teams will need all the help that they can get.
This Texans team, at least on paper, looks like it can compete with the Chiefs and the Ravens.
That is thanks to what Ryans has built in Houston.
