There is a reason why people are excited to see Garrett Wilson catch passes from Aaron Rodgers.
Without competent quarterback play in his first two seasons, Wilson has recorded at least 80 receptions, over 1,000 receiving yards, and 3+ touchdowns each year.
According to insider Zack Rosenblatt, Wilson joins fellow wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase, Michael Thomas, Odell Beckham Jr., and Justin Jefferson as the only other players in history to accomplish that feat.
Garrett Wilson is one of only five WRs in NFL history to record at least 80 receptions, 1,000 yards and three TDs in each of his first two years
The others: Ja’Marr Chase, Michael Thomas, Odell Beckham and Justin Jefferson.
All of them only caught passes from one or two QBs.…

Imagine what the former Buckeye could do with Rodgers throwing him passes for a full season.
Wilson is truly one of the young stars in the league, and Rodgers is arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
That is a scary duo that the rest of the league is going to have to worry about.
Especially with Rodgers now fully back from his torn Achilles, this whole Jets team is ready to contend for the Lombardi Trophy in 2024.
This is a roster that is seemingly complete on both sides of the ball.
With Wilson, 1,000-yard scrimmage back Breece Hall, big-play threat Mike Williams, and a revamped offensive line, the personnel around Rodgers appears to be a lot better.
Defensively, led by All-Pros in Quinnen Williams, Quincy Williams, Haason Reddick, C.J. Mosley, and Sauce Gardner, this is arguably the most talented defense that Rodgers has ever had.
This season might be a do-or-die season for Gang Green, especially for head coach Robert Saleh.
If this team is not a playoff team, some tough conversations will possibly need to be had.
