The Jacksonville Jaguars could have a sneaky-good defense in 2024.
After finishing in the top 10 in both rush defense (103.1 yards allowed per game) and interceptions (16) in 2023, Jacksonville has the chance to build a great defensive product in 2024.
With the additions of veterans Arik Armstead and Darnell Savage, along with the team already having a couple of studs in former first overall pick Travon Walker, Pro Bowl edge-rusher Josh Allen, and tackling machine Foyesade Oluokun, this will be a unit to keep an eye on.
After coming over from San Francisco, Armstead sees a lot of potential on this team, especially in Walker.
“I think Travon can be the best edge in the league,” Armstead recently told the Jacksonville media, per Around The NFL.

If Armstead ends up being right, Jaguars fans could enjoy a lot of success in the near future.
The former national champion in Walker is coming off a bounce-back sophomore season in Duval County.
After recording just 3.5 sacks as a rookie, he recorded 10.0 last year.
Additionally, he started all 17 games and had more total tackles (52) too.
Still just 23 years of age, Walker has his entire career in front of him.
If he can bring the same or even more juice in 2024, Doug Pederson’s defense could be feared by everyone.
With Josh Allen making his second career Pro Bowl in 2023 after recording a whopping 17.5 sacks for the team, this duo may very well be the best edge duo in football currently.
But to make the playoffs, they will have to be even better once the season begins.
