The Denver Broncos might have themselves a player in rookie quarterback Bo Nix.
The team’s latest first-round pick has already made quite the impression on his team.
Yes, he has performed well during practice, but veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton can also see how strong of a leader the former Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year is.
“He’s going to be that leader and be that guy that’s going to take us to where we get to ultimately, get to the postseason and going and winning another Super Bowl for this organization,” Sutton recently said on the “DNVR Broncos” podcast, per Zac Stevens.
Courtland Sutton had the highest praise for Bo Nix last week on the @DNVR_Broncos podcast:

If true, the future may very well be bright in the Mile High City.
This team hasn’t had consistent quarterback play since Peyton Manning was in the building.
But now that head coach Sean Payton has his guy in Nix, perhaps that stretch of poor quarterback play will be ending fairly soon.
After all, Nix started a whopping 61 games in college across his time at both Auburn and Oregon, which is an NCAA record.
Payton coached another long-time college starter in Drew Brees for about a decade-and-a-half.
Together, they would win a Super Bowl and prove to be one of the league’s best quarterback-head coach duos of the era.
With Nix’s growth and experience, along with Payton’s brain, magic could be on the horizon in Denver.
With the talent around him in Sutton and a fantastic all-purpose back in Javonte Williams, Nix has the chance to be great in Denver.
