Robbie Chosen is a well-traveled NFL wide receiver who also has the distinction of being known by multiple names.
Along with stints playing for the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, and Miami Dolphins, he has been known as Robby Anderson (his birth name), Robbie Anderson, and Chosen Anderson.
The former Temple standout is currently peddling his wares around the league, and he is out West for a tryout with a new franchise.
Tom Pelissero reported that the free-agent wide receiver will work out for the Seattle Seahawks this week at the team’s minicamp.

Chosen was signed to a three-year contract by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2016, and he made the most of the opportunity.
The speedy receiver hauled in 207 passes over four seasons in New York for 20 touchdowns before moving on to Carolina.
It was there that his career hit its high point, and in his second season with the Panthers, Chosen caught 95 passes for 1,096 yards in 16 starts.
However, that success was never duplicated, and he was traded to Arizona for a pair of lower-round draft picks.
A season that saw only seven receptions for the Cardinals ended with his release, and he was picked up shortly after by Miami, where he caught four passes in 2023.
Besides frequent name changes and that stellar 2020 season, Chosen might best be remembered for being booted from a 2022 game by then-Carolina head coach Steve Wilks after a sideline argument.
Now he will attempt to resurrect his career in Seattle as a viable target for Geno Smith in 2024.
