With the Pittsburgh Steelers opening mandatory minicamp this week, many of the faithful have their eyes focused on new quarterback Justin Fields.
He joined the team after three uneven seasons in Chicago, during which his team lost 28 of his 38 starts.
But that is the unfortunate history of Bears quarterbacks, and Fields’ move to another franchise may signal a turnaround for his still-young career.
The NFL posted new pictures of Fields sporting his Pittsburgh uniform on Monday, which undoubtedly fired up his supporters.

There is no question that the starting job is Russell Wilson’s to lose, but that does not erase speculation about Fields’ role on Mike Tomlin’s team.
Will he elevate himself up the depth chart and be entrenched as the solid number two?
With Tomlin, who signed a three-year extension on Monday, declaring that Wilson is far out front, will Fields show enough on the gridiron to change that perception?
Training camp and the preseason remain weeks away, and Fields will have much more of an opportunity when those roll around to prove his mettle.
Many note both his unimpressive win-loss record and his 30 interceptions in only 38 starts in the Windy City.
However, the Ohio State product is still a work in progress, and the NFL is littered with examples of players who found success after initially struggling to make their mark in the league.
For Fields, Pittsburgh offers new hope that he will put the Chicago experience behind him and live up to the hype that accompanied him as a rookie.
