The Chicago Bears could very well be on the verge of a fun set of years, especially on offense.
Former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Caleb Williams was selected with the first overall draft pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
Additionally, the team selected Washington All-American wide receiver Rome Odunze with the No. 9 overall pick.
These former Pac-12 rivals are now teammates in the Windy City.
The NFL’s social media team just recently posted a picture of both Williams and Odunze with the quarterback standing behind his receiver.
The caption reads, “Did we just become best friends?”

Of course, the NFL is referencing the comedy classic Step Brothers.
But these two Bears players could very well bring success to the city.
Plus, the additions of six-time Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen and 1,000-yard running back D’Andre Swift will help too.
DJ Moore is also a playmaker that Williams will have at his disposal as he gets his NFL legs under him.
This is a young team that doesn’t know how to win yet.
But it is the talent that this team possesses that could help fast-track them toward those winning ways.
In a tough NFC North, the playoffs might seem a little far-fetched.
However, with Williams’ talent at quarterback and along with the experience of players like Moore and Allen out wide, this is a team that can be trouble for years to come, especially on offense.
Look for this team to possibly approach a record of .500 with their growing crop of talent on both ides of the ball.
