The Kansas City Chiefs are in search of the league’s first-ever Super Bowl three-peat.
However, there are a few reasons why this team may not be able to achieve glory again.
Let Fox Sports’s Craig Carton explain.
“There’ve been so many things that have happened to various guys on this team and those are the signs of a team that’s not going to three-peat,” Carton recently stated on The Carton Show.

Kansas City is a well-oiled machine.
Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are the best quarterback-head coach duo in the league right now.
However, there have been some issues that have popped up this offseason that could be seen as distractions for the team.
The whole Taylor Swift effect is a very real thing, but it could always pose as a hurdle and bring a lot more noise into the building.
Harrison Butker’s commencement speech comments really made waves and not in a good way.
Ascending receiver Rashee Rice is likely going to be suspended by the league for multiple off-the-field incidents that have taken place this offseason.
Additionally, the simple fact of the matter is that this team will have a target on it’s back all season.
They weren’t invincible last year.
They won 11 games, not 15 or 16.
What made them better than everyone was their ability to rise above in the biggest and brightest moments.
As Kansas City enters a possibly historic year, the Chiefs will have to overcome many distractions if they want to bring home that third consecutive Lombardi.
