For years, the New York Jets have had one of the best defenses in the game.
Led by Robert Saleh, the team put together a talented unit.
Unfortunately for them, a subpar offense, and particularly subpar quarterback play, often stood in their way.
A competent offense, not even a great one, would’ve been more than enough for them to make the playoffs the past two or three years.
That’s why they went after Aaron Rodgers and now doubled down on their commitment to him by revamping their offensive line and adding more talent on that side of the field.
With that in mind, one of their newcomers shared his thoughts on this new-look offense.
Former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Tyron Smith claimed that he thinks they have everything to be one of the most dominant offensive units in the league when they’re in full sync (via Jets Videos).
“I feel like we can be a dominant offense as long as everybody’s on the same page”

Smith was one of the biggest additions they made in the offseason.
He’s talented and impactful and should be just what their ever-struggling offensive line needs, but there are some serious concerns about both his age and his durability.
The Jets also added Mike Williams and drafted Malachi Corley to line up opposite Garrett Wilson, and with Breece Hall out there, they have the whole package.
The fans hope they’ll be able to stay on the field after years of struggles with offensive line injuries, and keeping Rodgers safe and sound after a season-ending injury should be their main priority going forward.
