The New York Giants may have themselves a special player who is on the rise in the facility.
No. 6 overall draft pick Malik Nabers was the team’s first-round draft choice in April’s NFL Draft out of LSU.
The former All-American finished his college career as LSU’s all-time leading wide receiver (3,003 yards).
Now, he is apparently making some highlight-reel plays in practice, including this nasty, one-handed grab that happened just recently, via the NFL.

The Giants haven’t had consistent wide receiver play since the early days of Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz.
But, perhaps the addition of a talented rookie in Nabers, along with the signing of a veteran in former Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson, can help quarterback Daniel Jones have a bounce-back season.
Jones is coming off of a major ACL injury that cut his 2023 season short.
The wide receiver room needs to be at its best in order for Jones to be at his best.
There has been lot of change in that room in recent years as veterans Sterling Shepard, Parris Campbell, Richie James, and others have left town.
But with Nabers perhaps being a true talent that could be in New York for years to come, that position may finally have some stability.
He is coming off of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and over 160 receptions combined across both of those seasons.
If he turns out to be who Giants fans think he could be, maybe there is a resurgence coming for Big Blue in 2024.
