The growth of an NFL player is always fascinating to watch.
This is especially true if they are a talented player on offense for the Dallas Cowboys.
Tight end Jake Ferguson, who is fresh off his first Pro Bowl bid, is looking to make an even bigger leap in 2024.
“I need to make that exact same jump (as last year), but make it even bigger,” Ferguson told the team’s official site.

After catching just 19 passes for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns as a rookie in 2022, the former Wisconsin Badger made a massive jump in 2023.
He reeled in 71 receptions for 761 yards and 5 touchdowns en route to the first Pro Bowl nod of his career.
Along with All-Pro receiver CeeDee Lamb and former Pro Bowl back Tony Pollard, Ferguson was an integral piece of the offense last year.
He helped the Cowboys win 12 games again for the third consecutive season.
Now, he has his eyes set on a bigger year in 2024.
The former fourth-round draft pick is hungry for more after the team failed to make it past the first round of the playoffs last season.
Assuming Lamb gets his contract situation figured out, there is a chance that he and Ferguson could form arguably the best wide receiver-tight end combo in the National Football League.
The Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl since the mid-90s.
For them to try and get close this year, it will be up to players like Ferguson to make a greater impact this year than last year.
