Tom Brady might not be the most talented, biggest, athletic, fastest, or strongest quarterback in NFL history.
He wasn’t even a highly-recruited player coming out of Michigan, and perhaps he would’ve never had a chance to play if it wasn’t for Drew Bledsoe’s injury.
Nonetheless, that never stopped him from working hard every single day to be ready for the moment his number was called, not even knowing if that moment would ever come.
Brady had that same approach for the remainder of his career, and he’s now inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.
During the ceremony, No. 12 had one of the most epic speeches we’ve heard in a while (Via Bussin’ With The Boys).

He claimed that he would encourage everybody to play football just because it’s hard.
He talked about all the physical burden a football player has to withstand every single day, but more than that, about the discipline and determination they must have to keep doing the same thing over and over while everybody else is having fun and getting some rest.
Brady claimed that one doesn’t have to be special to be great.
You just have to do what other people aren’t, which is to be consistent and determined to keep working toward your goals.
Those words should resonate for years to come, and they truly embody what he did and what he was able to accomplish during his playing days.
And that’s why, fortunately for other teams, there will never be another Tom Brady.
