The New York Jets entered the season thinking about Super Bowl banners and parades.
Losing Aaron Rodgers four plays into the campaign was a massive blow to those aspirations.
But in what has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster, the legendary quarterback is defying Father Time and all the odds to be back on the field sooner than expected, and that has uplifted the spirits in New York again.
According to Dan Graziano and one of his sources, Rodgers being in the building has given the Jets a ‘calming and confident vibe’ (via Get Up).

His sources stated that Rodgers being there makes all kinds of selfishness and self-centeredness disappear, and the team feels a lot of confidence just because of his presence.
The entire crowd and even his teammates were in awe when they saw him walking without crutches and throwing the football before their game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles.
No one has recovered from an Achilles surgery as quickly as Rodgers seems to be doing, and having him back on the field this very same season could be one of the most revolutionary achievements in sports medicine history.
Zach Wilson has been more competent in leading the offense over the past three weeks or so.
However, even at his best, he’s still nowhere near Aaron Rodgers, and having the former Super Bowl champion on the field would turn the Jets back into the team to beat in the AFC right away, especially if their defense continues to dominate the way they’ve done.
