The Detroit Lions entered the season as the leading candidate to take the NFC North.
So far, Dan Campbell’s team has lived up to those expectations, being tied for the best record in the league (5-1), and even beating the reigning Super Bowl champions in the season opener.
Nonetheless, former NFL champion Willie Colon remains unimpressed by them, stating that they haven’t faced anyone yet.
In the latest edition of “The Carton Show,” Colon took away that win over the Kansas City Chiefs because they were missing both Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, adding that they lost against the only somewhat decent team they’ve faced, the Seattle Seahawks.
“The Lions know who they are. They’re going to play whoever’s on their schedule.”

Still, Greg Jennings believes the Lions are as good as advertised, and they’re not to blame for the rather bland schedule they’ve had thus far.
He thinks Jared Goff is a legit leader and knows that Campbell has the players ready to run through a brick wall for him if need be.
Jennings believes the players are going to buy in on whatever Campbell asks of them, regardless of the rival they face.
Considering the remainder of the schedule, the Lions should have no problem making the playoffs, and it wouldn’t even be a surprise to see them get a first-round bye or home-field advantage.
