After an embarrassing loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, in which star quarterback Dak Prescott had one of the worst games of his NFL career thus far, the Dallas Cowboys got back to work on Monday Night Football on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fortunately for Dallas, Prescott and company were able to bounce back and get the win over the Chargers, even though it was far from a pretty game for either team at SoFi Stadium.
Despite getting sacked five times against the Chargers, Prescott had a solid game, throwing for 272 yards and a touchdown while adding 40 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown.
Even though it was a close game filled with penalties, Dallas was able to come out on top, and superstar linebacker Micah Parsons had some things to say after the game as he defended Prescott and the team via B/R Gridiron.

It seems pretty clear that Parsons is tired of hearing all the noise and criticism about the Cowboys, as it was likely nonstop for him after the loss to the 49ers, especially when it came to Prescott and the team needing to make a change at quarterback.
Fortunately for Parsons, the noise will die down a bit after this win over the Chargers, and the team can get back to Dallas and focus on hosting the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8 after their bye week.
If the Cowboys can continue to pile up the wins, Dallas will still make a case as a title contender in the NFC, as there’s a lot of football left to be played, and anything can happen moving forward.
