It is always fun to see a new player come into a new city and immerse himself into what is going on.
For Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy, the latest event that he was at was a Minnesota Twins game.
In fact, he ended up throwing out the first pitch of the game.
Unfortunately for him, it did not exactly go as planned as he completely missed the target.

All jokes aside, this is exactly what should make Vikings fans excited about McCarthy.
He wants to be in Minnesota and wants to acquaint himself with everything and everyone in the area.
The Vikings made the move to draft McCarthy with the No. 10 overall pick in April’s draft.
After coming off of winning a national championship at Michigan, he will look to eventually capture that kind of glory at the NFL level.
Of course, McCarthy will have time to adjust to the NFL game.
He is still a rookie and is currently competing with veteran quarterback Sam Darnold for the starting job.
It would not be the worst thing if Darnold won the battle because McCarthy could then take some more time to get his legs under him.
But when he eventually takes over, he should be expected to utilize his great skill players on offense such as All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson, ascending wide receiver Jordan Addison, Pro Bowl tight end T.J. Hockenson, and former Pro Bowl running back Aaron Jones.
