When playing for the Super Bowl, great players are willing to do whatever it takes to win.
That is why when those great players lose, it has a big effect.
San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle recently revealed on Bussin’ With The Boys what he went through after San Francisco’s Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs once again last year.
“I couldn’t lift…I went a month without doing anything…My anxiety levels were pretty high,” Kittle said.

Kittle also revealed that he lost close to 30 pounds, which is quite significant for a tight end like him.
The former Iowa star also has had to deal with a fractured rib, a core muscle tear, and shoulder and toe injuries this offseason.
This is arguably the most physical sport in the world.
Injuries and pain tend to come with the territory.
But especially after a Super Bowl loss, the pain hurts even more.
The 49ers have seemingly been one of the best teams in the league for the last half-decade.
They have either made the NFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl in four of the last five years.
Consistency is the name of the game for the team from the Bay Area, but the only problem is that they have not been able to close the deal.
For the second time in five years, the 49ers lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
This franchise hasn’t won the Super Bowl since 1994, which means it has been three decades since they last won a championship.
When that is the case, the pain can hurt even more for players like Kittle.
