The Arizona Cardinals do not appear to be one of the league’s top teams, at least on paper.
In recent years, they have parted ways with the likes of key vets such as Larry Fitzgerald, DeAndre Hopkins, J.J. Watt, Zach Ertz, “Hollywood” Brown, Rondale Moore and a few others too.
They are coming off of back-to-back four-win seasons and aren’t highly thought of outside of their own building.
However, that is just how tight end Trey McBride and his team might like it.
“We don’t get the respect that we deserve, I feel like, but it’s good to be under the radar because no one’s really expecting us to do anything,” McBride recently said on NFL Network’s The Insiders.

Part of the reason why Arizona finished 4-13 last year was because they were missing their Pro Bowl quarterback in Kyler Murray for about half of the season.
He was still recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered during the prior season.
The team started 1-8 without Murray but went 3-5 down the stretch when Murray returned last season to finish 4-13.
That isn’t a good record, but with Murray, anything can be possible for this team.
Now, they are in a tough division with the 49ers, Rams and Seahawks.
The first two teams have either won the Super Bowl or made it to the Super Bowl in the last few years.
There is no doubt that Arizona has an uphill climb to get back into contention.
But with Murray back healthy and with the additions of first-round rookies like wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and defensive lineman Darius Robinson, this team has an opportunity to surprise people.
