The Philadelphia Phillies have been showing their dominance in a multitude of ways during the playoffs.
Even after an up-and-down regular season at times.
The postseason has been nothing but up for the Phillies.
The Phillies have dominated both on the mound and at the plate.
But, when it comes to hitting home runs, not many teams have done it better.
According to Anthony DiComo, the Phillies have out-homered their opponents by 14 in the playoffs.
That would be the most of all time with the 2015 New York Mets in second at 12.
During their October run, the 2015 Mets outhomered their opponents by 12 that postseason (20 to 8), which still stands as the all-time record.
But the 2023 Phillies are threatening to break it. With two homers tonight, they’ve outhomered their playoff opponents by 14 (18 to 4).

Anytime the Phillies can take down the Mets for a record, it is an accomplishment.
But, you can bet they are more focused on winning games.
It would not be a surprise to see that home-run differential increase.
The Phillies’ pitching is not giving up runs, and no one has been able to slow down their bats.
The Arizona Diamondbacks seem to be out of their class against the Phillies.
Game 3 of the NLCS with be on Thursday in Arizona.
The D-Backs will be throwing rookie Brandon Pfaadt.
While the Phillies are expected to start Ranger Suarez.
Suarez has started two games in the postseason and has thrown 8.2 innings while giving up only one run.
Pfaadt is coming off 4.1 shutout innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
But, the rookie will have his work cut out for him facing the hottest lineup in baseball.
This is not an ideal matchup for the D-Backs, but their backs are against a wall.
Game 3 is a must-win for Arizona or this series will be all but over.
