Even though they aren’t close to being at full strength, the Miami Dolphins have served notice that they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders this season and that they’re the best offensive team in the NFL right now.
They rank first in points and total yards, and the man leading the way is Tyreek Hill, their star wide receiver.
So far this season, Hill has accumulated 814 receiving yards and six touchdowns, and he leads the league in both categories.
This could turn out to be a very special year for him, as per Dov Kleiman, he only needs 186 receiving yards over the Dolphins’ next two games to become the first player in the Super Bowl era to reach the 1,000-yard mark in the first eight games of a season.

Is Tyreek Hill the most valuable non-QB in the NFL?

Hill already set a career-high in 2022 with 1,710 yards, which earned him his seventh Pro Bowl selection in as many seasons, as well as his fourth All-Pro First-Team nod.
His production has helped fourth-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa continue to develop, as Tagovailoa has completed 71.1 percent of his passes, thrown 14 touchdown passes, and has the league’s highest passer rating so far this season.
Miami has managed to get out to a 5-1 record and put up big scoring numbers even though sensational rookie running back De’Von Achane is out with a knee injury.
A significant concern for them, however, is defense, a category in which they rank toward the bottom of the league in terms of points and total yards.
The team is hoping the return of cornerback Jalen Ramsey, whom they traded for during the offseason, later this season will help rectify that issue.
