A.J. Brown knows he is a significant cog in the Philadelphia offensive machine, and the Eagle made a point to let everyone know that he is ready to perform even higher this fall.
As his third season in the City of Brotherly Love approaches, Brown assured the media on Wednesday that all systems are go.
Even as the team struggled down the stretch of 2023, Brown’s performance and leadership spoke volumes of his dedication to his craft.
Not only did the receiver announce that he is in the best shape of his impressive young career, but Eliot Shorr-Parks reported that he is determined to be “100% effective” for every offensive snap.

This should cause many sleepless nights for cornerbacks and defensive coordinators this fall.
After all, Brown emerged in the last two years as the primary target for star quarterback Jalen Hurts after joining the Eagles from Tennessee in 2022.
His first season was impressive as he hauled in 88 passes for a whopping 1,496 yards and 11 scores.
That translated to a 17 yards per reception average.
Then, in 2023, Brown upped his reception total to a staggering 106 for another 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns.
Both seasons resulted in a Pro Bowl selection.
The muscular wideout, who proudly sports the nickname “Swole Batman,” figures to be an integral part of the team’s attack when the new season rolls around.
And to be in the best shape of a five-year career that has already seen 379 receptions and nearly 6,000 yards is welcome news for a city that eats, breathes, and sleeps Eagles football.
