Against all odds, the Cleveland Browns were able to clinch a spot in the 2023 NFL Playoffs after a dominating win over the New York Jets.
The Browns have endured several season-ending injuries to key players on both sides of the field, but the rest of the roster has been able to step up and scratch and claw for wins.
Cleveland’s defense has been the team’s backbone all year, though the offense is finding itself now that veteran Joe Flacco is under center.
Flacco’s elevated the Browns’ offense to new heights and his play has galvanized the locker room.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski has been the one navigating all the obstacles and his hard work is being recognized as he is the heavy favorite to win the NFL Coach of the Year Award via BetOnline.ag.

Stefanski has been forced to adjust schemes and plays on the fly and he’s done an excellent job of keeping the players together through it all.
There aren’t many coaches around the league that could’ve gutted out wins the way Stefanski did, so he is rightfully the favorite for the prestigious award.
Week 18 doesn’t mean anything to Cleveland who’s locked into the No. 5 seed, so Stefanski will get to enjoy at least one week before preparing for the playoffs.
