Aaron Rodgers remains the focus of the New York Jets’ offseason as their roster-building plans have all revolved around him.
The Jets made sure to find him help alongside the offensive line by bringing in players like Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses, and John Simpson.
However, New York’s Super Bowl aspirations still depend on Rodgers completing his rehab without any setbacks.
So far, the expectation is Rodgers will be fully healthy for Week 1 which is great news considering the severity of his injury.
In the meantime, it looks like Jets fans will get to learn more about their starting quarterback because author Ian O’Connor is coming out with a biography of him via Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.
“I requested him right after the trade,” O’Connor said, “and he finally agreed to an interview last month. It’s an unauthorized bio and Aaron didn’t owe me anything, so I appreciated the in-person audience. I had two hours with him so he could respond to what I had learned and what I had been told during my research. He made it a better book,” O’Connor said.
Unauthorized Aaron Rodgers biography is coming later this year from @Ian_OConnor. Rodgers nevertheless agreed to be interviewed last month for it. https://t.co/QurPmPHiGd

Rodgers is one of the most interesting players in the NFL because he’s deeply introspective and has several decades of playing experience to reflect on.
While Rodgers has made some questionable comments in the past, he remains a highly-publicized figure that draws attention whenever he speaks.
There’s no telling what sort of details O’Connor was able to gather but it’ll be interesting to read more about what makes Rodgers tick as a person and player.
