The New York Jets headed into the 2023 NFL season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title after trading for superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Unfortunately for the Jets, the prospect of winning a title went out the window once Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the first game against the division-rival Buffalo Bills.
Ultimately, the Jets went on to have another forgettable season with Zach Wilson under center and missed the NFL playoffs, which obviously wasn’t a great outcome with the team having held championship aspirations.
Despite coming off a forgettable year, the Jets have reason for optimism in 2024 with Rodgers back healthy and ready to get to work, leading many to think New York could be a force to be reckoned with during the upcoming season.
However, the team needs to work out the kinks during training camp, with Rodgers and star wide receiver Garrett Wilson recently seen having a shouting match on the field during practice, but the QB downplayed the dust-up on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams.
“It’s a whole lot of nothing,” Rodgers said.

Even though Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks ever, and Wilson is arguably among the elite receivers in the league, there are bound to be some disagreements on the field from time to time.
If there were any arguments or dust-ups like this, that’s when there would be time for some serious concern, because one of the two would be holding back, and that can lead to some discord within the team.
So, working out their issues now should only lead to them getting better as a duo.
