The New York Jets had outlandish expectations last season after trading for superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and the train fell off the tracks right away as Rodgers tore his Achilles just four plays into his Jets career.
He is gearing up for a big return in 2024 and now has a clear message he wants to send to fans around the world.
Rodgers spoke with Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio today and said “I think we have a team that, definitely on paper, looks better maybe than we had last year” as he raved about the offense and brought up Super Bowl expectations for the Jets in 2024.

Rodgers said that he loved bringing in Tyron Smith at left tackle and allowing the rest of the offensive line to settle into more familiar roles, as he is well aware of how important it is to fortify this line to keep him healthy.
Rodgers might not have the mobility he used to have, but he can still sling it with the best of them, but at 39 years old, the Jets could not afford to skimp out on the offensive line again.
The O-line was the team’s biggest question mark heading into last season, and it proved to be the Jets’ undoing right out of the gate.
The AFC is going to be loaded once again this season, but New York does have a prolific roster on paper that could compete with the best of them as long as Rodgers is on the field.
