The Dallas Cowboys might be in some trouble on the contract front.
They have to find a way to pay their All-Pro quarterback in Dak Prescott, their All-Pro wide receiver in CeeDee Lamb, and their All-Pro edge-rusher in Micah Parsons.
In order for them to be able to contend for a Super Bowl, Jerry Jones needs all of these guys to be in the building right now and moving into the future.
Luckily, Prescott is in the building and practicing, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter also believes he has a ton of leverage.
“There’s not a player in football with more leverage than Dak Prescott. He’s headed in for the last year of his contract. He can’t be traded. He can’t be tagged,” Schefter recently stated on “NFL Live.”

Also, Jerry Jones and Co. both know that they cannot win games without him being there.
He is coming off of the best season of his career.
The three-time Pro-Bowler led the league in touchdown passes (36) and completions (410).
He earned All-Pro honors for the first time in his career.
No, Dallas has not won a Super Bowl in a long, long time.
But, Prescott has held up his end of the bargain for most of his career.
He and the team are coming off of three consecutive 12-win seasons.
The problem comes when the team doesn’t know how to play complementary football in January.
It hurt them again last year against the Packers.
Regardless, this team would be worse off if they didn’t have Prescott.
Both parties know that.
