Now that the NFL’s regular season has concluded, many teams have quickly pivoted to their head coaching search.
Several teams have already made coaching changes in the offseason, hoping to find better luck with a new coach next year.
One such team is the Tennessee Titans, who surprisingly decided to cut ties with Mike Vrabel.
According to a recent report from Mike Garafolo, the Titans are already scheduling interviews, as Antonio Pierce is slated to get a shot this weekend.
The #Titans will interview Antonio Pierce for their vacant head coaching job this weekend, source says. While he remains firmly in the mix for the #Raiders’ job, Pierce is exploring all options.

Pierce was the interim head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders after the team fired Josh McDaniels midseason.
While Garafolo pointed out that Pierce is still in the running for the Raiders job, he wants to see what else is out there.
If the Titans make a compelling pitch, and Pierce feels like it is a better fit, he could make his way to another new gig.
Several other vacancies throughout the league give candidates many options for a new destination.
Fans look forward to seeing how the coaching carousel shakes out over the next several weeks.
The NFL continues to be a league that asks coaches and players to put their best foot forward every week.
For the Titans, Vrabel’s fall from grace happened very quickly.
This team was the No. 1 team in the AFC a few years ago, and Vrabel won Coach of the Year in 2021.
That is how quickly things can change in the NFL.
Whoever becomes the Titans’ next coach will inherit one of the league’s best offensive lines and have a chance to develop other young players.
