The Dallas Cowboys might be getting another addition to their already strong defense.
Shaquille Leonard was recently released by the Indianapolis Colts and is now a free agent, free to sign with any team that he chooses.
While his search might extend beyond the Cowboys, they are the first team he is slated to visit, according to Tom Pelissero.
Three-time All-Pro LB Shaquille Leonard is scheduled to visit the #Cowboys on Tuesday, per source.

As Pelissero mentions, the Cowboys have a notable need in their linebacker corps, and Leonard could fill in nicely.
He has, at times, been viewed as one of the league’s most dominant linebackers.
His recent release might cause some fans trepidation, wondering if he will be a good fit for the Cowboys.
While this might be a cause for concern, Leonard’s track record proceeds him, and his salary is menial for the rest of the year.
Even if he ends up being a bust, the Cowboys are not on the line for a large salary, making this a win-win for both parties involved.
If Leonard succeeds throughout the rest of the year, he might stick around on the Cowboys roster in 2024 and beyond.
For a team that is among the best in the NFC, adding a player of Leonard’s caliber seems to be the icing on the cake.
The Cowboys already allow the fourth-fewest points per game to their opponents, something Leonard can likely help with moving forward.
Can he make a meaningful impact on what appears to be a strong playoff roster?
