The Philadelphia Eagles need to bounce back.
Last season’s campaign was very disappointing, and while it shouldn’t be difficult to do better, they still need Jalen Hurts to take another leap forward.
That’s why, as much as it’s not going to be easy for him to improve from his MVP-caliber season, NFL analyst Dave Zangaro still has faith in him.
Talking on NBC Sports Philadelphia, he talked about how Hurts could still be in for a career year in 2024.
Career year incoming for Jalen Hurts?

He thinks that Kellen Moore’s arrival as Hurts’ offensive coordinator could do wonders for him, given that the coach is one of the best and most innovative guys in the NFL, and Hurts regressed when Shane Steichen left the team to become the head coach for the Indianapolis Colts.
On top of that, even with Jason Kelce retiring, the Eagles still have one of the best — if not the best — offensive lines in the game.
The Eagles also made a prime addition when they signed Saquon Barkley in free agency, and he should be Hurts’ best friend as the Eagles need to establish the run to open up things on offense for him.
Last season was disappointing, but this team still has more than enough talent to be a powerhouse in the NFC, perhaps even ahead of the likes of the San Francisco 49ers or Detroit Lions.
Still, this could be a make-or-break season for Hurts, who must prove that his MVP and Super Bowl run in 2022 wasn’t a fluke.
