The Tennessee Titans made a big splash in the offseason.
Firing HC Mike Vrabel was a rather shocking decision, and they replaced him with someone with an entirely different approach.
Brian Callahan will look to revamp their offense after an era marked by a strong defensive identity, and he brought plenty of big pieces along with him.
He lured his father, Bill, the best offensive line coach in the game, and added C Lloyd Cushenberry III, WRs Tyler Boyd and Calvin Ridley, and RB Tony Pollard to the mix.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Bucky Brooks believes the Titans could be a legitimate dark horse out of the AFC next season, going as far as to predict that they could go from worst to first in 2024 (via Around the NFL).
“If WR Calvin Ridley, RB Tony Pollard, slot Tyler Boyd and C Lloyd Cushenberry III add some stability around the quarterback and the defense rises up under new coordinator Dennard Wilson, the Titans could shock the football world with a worst-to-first rise,” Brooks said.

On paper, they do have the pieces to be significantly better.
Will Levis has more experience after an up-and-down rookie season, and now that this is definitely his team and he has better weapons around him, we could witness a breakout season by the Kentucky product.
The Titans already had a solid defensive unit, and the addition of L’Jarius Sneed will do wonders for their secondary.
Then again, from that to leading the division, it could be a long stretch.
The Houston Texans look like a powerhouse in the making, the Jacksonville Jaguars will look to bounce back, and the Indianapolis Colts are no pushovers.
One thing’s for sure, though, the AFC South will be very fun to watch for years to come.
