Last week, the Buffalo Bills made a surprising move to trade veteran star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, which more or less confirmed all the rumors about his relationship with the franchise being on the outs the last couple of years.
With the Bills moving on from their best receiver and letting Gabe Davis sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars in NFL free agency, the team has a big void in the receiving corps.
Fortunately, however, the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft is filled with top-tier talent at the wide receiver position, meaning the Bills have an opportunity to start fresh with a young receiver or two to give superstar quarterback Josh Allen some targets downfield.
Apparently, the rumors are starting to brew about the Bills potentially trading up in the draft to land one of the top receivers in the draft, as Ben Solak of The Ringer believes it wouldn’t be surprising to see Buffalo make a move to bring in Rome Odunze out of the University of Washington via Up & Adams.

The Bills may have moved on from Diggs and Davis with this being the plan all along, as they can bring in some talented wide receivers in the draft who’ll be on rookie contracts.
With the Bills in win-now mode, Odunze or another prospect like Marvin Harrison Jr. or Malik Nabers would be a potential game-changer for Buffalo, as many anticipate these three players to be ready to make an impact on the NFL level right away.
